Market Research IQ Analysts are approved independent research contributors working under the MRIQ Analyst Program. This is not a salaried employment arrangement, and analysts do not need to wait for MRIQ to assign report topics.
Approved analysts can identify suitable market opportunities based on their verified expertise, prepare original reports and submit them to the MRIQ Team for review. Reports are published only after they satisfy quality, accuracy, originality and marketplace requirements.
This guide explains the complete process—from selecting a topic to submitting a report for approval.
1. Complete Analyst Approval First
Only approved MRIQ Analysts can create reports under the program.
Before receiving report access, an applicant must:
- Create and verify an MRIQ account.
- Submit the Analyst application.
- Provide a résumé or professional profile.
- Upload valid personal identity proof.
- Submit original sample research work.
- Describe their industries, research methods and areas of expertise.
- Wait for the MRIQ Team to review and approve the application.
The analyst dashboard and report-creation access become available after approval.
Analysts must keep their name, profile photograph, expertise, experience and other profile information accurate.
2. Select a Report Topic Based on Your Expertise
MRIQ Analysts normally select their own report topics. MRIQ does not automatically assign report titles or keywords.
Choose markets where you can confidently evaluate:
- Market size and forecast
- Industry trends
- Growth drivers and restraints
- Products and applications
- Customer or end-user segments
- Regional demand
- Competitive developments
- Relevant companies
- Research methodology
Avoid choosing a market only because it appears popular. The topic should match your knowledge, research capability and ability to verify important claims.
A strong topic is specific enough to serve a buyer. For example:
India Household Cleaning Products Market Size, Share and Forecast, 2026–2034
This is clearer than a broad title such as:
Cleaning Products Industry Report
Before beginning, search MRIQ to check whether a very similar report already exists. If one exists, create a genuinely different scope, geography, segment or research angle.
3. Define the Report Scope Before Writing
Prepare a short plan before completing the form.
Decide:
- Market being studied
- Geographic coverage
- Base year
- Historical study period
- Forecast period
- Market-size unit
- Product or service segments
- Application segments
- End users
- Distribution channels
- Regions covered
- Companies covered
- Intended buyers
- Research methodology
This planning prevents inconsistent dates, duplicated sections and conflicting market figures.
For example, if the forecast period is 2026–2034, all forecast values, CAGR calculations, charts and written conclusions should use the same period.
4. Start the Report in the Analyst Dashboard
Open:
Dashboard → Reports → Create Report
The Company and Analyst fields are assigned automatically for an MRIQ Analyst. Analysts cannot create reports for unrelated companies or another user’s profile.
You can create the content manually or use the AI draft tool as a starting point.
5. Use AI as an Assistant, Not as a Source
The “Generate AI Draft” tool can help create an editable starting structure. It may fill report sections, market fields, segments, companies, FAQs and SEO suggestions.
AI-generated information must not be treated as verified research.
After generating a draft, verify:
- Market size
- Forecast value
- CAGR
- Base year and forecast period
- Regional statements
- Leading segment
- Company names
- Regulations
- Technology claims
- Competitive statements
- Methodology language
Do not publish invented interviews, fabricated survey results, fake citations or unsupported sources.
The analyst remains responsible for the final report, even when AI assisted with the first draft.
6. Complete the Basic Report Information
Provide a clear report title containing the market, geography and forecast context where appropriate.
Complete:
- Report title
- Industry or market sector
- Report category
- Geography
- Number of pages
- Base year
- Forecast period
The URL slug is generated automatically from the title and normally does not require manual editing.
Use the actual expected report length in the Pages field. Do not claim a large page count if the delivered report will be substantially shorter.
7. Enter Consistent Market Figures
The Market Highlights section requires:
- Market size
- Market-size unit
- Forecast market size
- CAGR
- Study period
- Largest region
- Fastest-growing region
- Leading segment
All values must agree with one another.
The standard CAGR formula is:
CAGR = ((Forecast Value ÷ Base Value) ^ (1 ÷ Number of Years) − 1) × 100
If the calculated CAGR is materially different from the entered CAGR, the safety checker may flag the report.
Avoid mixing millions and billions. If the selected unit is “USD Billion,” both the base-year and forecast values must use billions.
8. Write Market-Specific Report Content
Every report section should provide useful information specific to the selected market.
Executive Summary
Summarize the market size, forecast outlook, important demand factors, leading segments, major regions and competitive direction.
Market Overview
Explain the market definition, commercial environment, supply structure, demand patterns and relevant industry developments.
Key Findings
Present the most important conclusions in short paragraphs or bullet points. Findings should help buyers quickly understand the market.
Growth Drivers
Explain the developments supporting market growth. Connect each driver to buyer demand, adoption, investment or revenue opportunity.
Market Restraints
Cover factors that could limit adoption, including costs, regulations, supply constraints, technical complexity or customer resistance.
Market Opportunities
Identify commercially useful opportunities by geography, application, product type, customer group or technology.
Market Challenges
Explain execution risks such as pricing pressure, competition, skills shortages, infrastructure limitations or changing regulations.
Market Segmentation
Describe how the market is divided by product type, application, end user and distribution channel. Explain why important segments are growing.
Regional Analysis
Discuss North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East and Africa when relevant. Avoid declaring one region both the largest and fastest-growing without supporting explanation.
Competitive Landscape
Describe competitive positioning, product strategies, partnerships, expansion, innovation and other relevant developments. Include only companies that genuinely participate in the market.
Research Methodology
Explain the intended research process honestly. It may include:
- Public company information
- Industry associations
- Government or regulatory information
- Trade data
- Product and company mapping
- Demand-side analysis
- Expert-informed assumptions
- Market triangulation
- Forecast modelling
Do not claim that interviews or surveys were completed unless they were actually conducted.
Report Scope
Clearly state what the report includes and, where useful, what it does not include.
9. Add a Report Table of Contents Only When Available
The Report Table of Contents field is optional.
Use it only when you have the actual chapter structure of the report document. Do not copy the navigation headings shown on the public MRIQ report page.
A genuine report TOC may contain detailed chapter names, subchapters, datasets, tables and company profiles that correspond to the delivered document.
If this field is left empty, MRIQ automatically hides the TOC section from the public report page.
10. Add Segments, Companies and FAQs
Add relevant entries under:
- By Type
- By Application
- By End User
- By Distribution Channel
Do not enter the same values under every segment group.
Add companies that actively participate in the selected market. Company websites and logos are optional, but names must be accurate.
Add buyer-focused FAQs covering matters such as:
- Report coverage
- Forecast period
- Geographic scope
- Segmentation
- Company coverage
- Customization
- Delivery
- Intended users
Answers should provide useful information rather than repeating the report title.
11. Configure Pricing and Delivery
Enter positive prices for:
- Single-user licence
- Multi-user licence
- Enterprise licence
Select the correct currency.
Then choose a delivery model.
Ready Report
Choose Ready when the complete report PDF is already available. The full PDF must be uploaded before the report can be submitted or published.
On-Demand Report
Choose On-demand when the final report will be prepared or finalized after purchase. Provide a realistic delivery timeline, such as three to five business days.
Do not promise a delivery time that you cannot meet.
The Sample PDF is optional, but a useful sample can help buyers understand the report’s quality and coverage. A sample must not expose the entire paid report.
12. Upload the Correct Featured Image
Every report requires a featured image.
Required specifications:
- 1200 × 765 pixels
- JPG, PNG or WebP
- Maximum 5 MB
Use an image related to the market. Avoid copyrighted logos, misleading data visualizations, unrelated stock images and designs containing unsupported statistics.
The platform’s image-generation option can help create a suitable report visual.
13. Complete the SEO Information
Every report requires:
- Meta title between 35 and 60 characters
- Meta description between 120 and 158 characters
Focus keywords, canonical URL and OG image are optional.
The SEO title should describe the report naturally. Avoid keyword stuffing, exaggerated claims and repeated phrases.
The “Generate SEO Version” tool can prepare an optimized version based on the report title, geography, forecast period and market information. Review it before submission.
14. Run the AI Content Safety Check
Before submission, run:
AI Content Safety → Check Content Safety
The tool evaluates issues such as:
- Inconsistent CAGR
- Conflicting forecast periods
- Thin content
- Repeated boilerplate
- Unverified regulatory claims
- Weak regional comparisons
- Unsupported opportunities
- Questionable company names
- Methodology risks
- SEO quality
Expand “View warnings” to review every issue.
A warning does not automatically mean the report is unusable. It means the statement requires correction, clarification or human verification.
High-risk warnings should not be ignored.
15. Confirm Human Review
If AI was used, the analyst must confirm that the report has been reviewed by a human.
The confirmation covers:
- Market figures
- Forecast assumptions
- CAGR
- Companies
- Regional claims
- Sources
- Regulations
- Factual statements
Do not select “Human confirmed” until the review is genuinely complete.
16. Save a Draft or Submit for Approval
MRIQ Analysts have two creation actions:
Save Draft
Use this when the report still requires internal checking or additional work.
The current report form requires most core fields even when saving a draft, so prepare the main information before beginning.
Submit for MRIQ Team Approval
Use this when the report is complete and ready for marketplace review.
The MRIQ Team may:
- Place the report under review
- Request revisions
- Approve it
- Publish it
- Reject it when it violates quality or compliance requirements
Submitting a report does not guarantee publication.
17. Respond to Revision Requests
If MRIQ requests changes:
- Open the report from the dashboard.
- Read the MRIQ Team review note.
- Correct every identified issue.
- Re-run the content safety check.
- Confirm human review again where required.
- Resubmit the report.
Do not create a duplicate report to avoid a revision request.
18. Protect Originality and Buyer Trust
Every analyst must submit original work.
Do not:
- Copy another publisher’s report
- Copy text from public websites
- Upload material owned by a previous employer
- Invent sources or interviews
- Include confidential client information
- Use unauthorized company logos
- Publish unsupported financial claims
- Present AI output as verified evidence
- Upload the same report under slightly different titles
MRIQ may reject content, suspend report access or take further action when originality or credibility requirements are violated.
